This is a research aid, not a decision-maker

Funding Monitor uses artificial intelligence to read funding-call pages and documents, pull out structured details (budget, eligibility, deadlines, funding intensity, and so on), and score how well each call matches an organization's profile. It is built to save you time scanning dozens of funding portals — it is not a substitute for reading the actual call yourself, and it is not legal, financial, or professional advice.

AI makes mistakes

Every piece of information Funding Monitor shows you — budget figures, deadlines, eligibility criteria, funding intensity, duration, and the Matching% score itself — is extracted or judged by an AI model reading the source page or document. AI extraction and AI judgment are both imperfect. Known, real failure modes include (this list isn't exhaustive):

A date read the wrong way round (EU sites almost always write DD/MM, and models occasionally read it as MM/DD).
A budget or funding-intensity figure taken from the wrong part of a page that describes several related calls at once.
An eligibility rule paraphrased in a way that changes its meaning.
A Matching% score that's too high, too low, or based on a real but coincidental keyword overlap rather than genuine relevance.
A call that's already closed, postponed, or changed on the official site since Funding Monitor last checked it.

Treat everything in this app as a starting point for your own research, not a final answer.

No guarantee of funding or eligibility

A high Matching% is not a guarantee that your organization is eligible for a call, and a low Matching% is not a guarantee that it isn't. Funding decisions are made entirely by the funding body, not by Funding Monitor, and are outside our control.
